Every piece of jewelry starts as something real: a rose petal from the Rose Valley, an oak leaf, a sprig of lavender, an ear of wheat, a geranium blossom, a lily of the valley, even a small pine cone. Nothing is cast or 3D-printed — each piece of jewelry begins its life as a real plant.
We grow and collect many of these plants ourselves in our own garden — Rosarium-Bilkarium, a small family botanical garden near Varna, home to over 60 species of medicinal herbs and roses.
From living herb to lasting memory
When the flower, leaf or herb is in its prime, we carefully preserve it. This process retains every natural vein, petal edge, and tiny imperfection, so that the finished piece of jewelry continues to look like the real plant from which it was created — not like a cast copy of it.
The preserved plant is then electroplated with real 24-karat gold or pure 999 silver — transforming something that would otherwise only last one season into a piece of jewelry that you can wear or keep for a lifetime.
You'll see it happen
Visitors to Rosarium-Bilkarium can see part of the preservation process live, and groups can even participate personally and receive their own gilded piece of jewelry just a few hours later. For a truly personal keepsake, our "Zaldas" service allows you to choose a flower growing in the garden — then we document its entire journey on video, from blossoming to the finished gilded piece of jewelry.
Rooted in Bulgaria
Bulgaria has been growing roses for rose oil for centuries. We wanted to capture the same beauty in a form that doesn't wilt — so every necklace, brooch, and keepsake carries a small piece of this heritage.
